Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Iowa State University and a Master's degree in business administration from Drake University. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner. Steve lives in West Des Moines with his wife, Susan. Steve has one grown child.

Prior to 2001, Pete worked in corporate finance for companies in the retail, outsourcing, and banking industries. Pete earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from The University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration degree from Drake University. Pete is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner. Pete lives in Johnston with his wife, Pam, and has three children.
